2025 Season Recap

Coming off the rebuild season of 2024, the question on everyone's mind: can the Lions continue the momentum?

An overview of the schedule would show that it would not be an easy task.  

• 25 games - the most games played by a Lions Varsity baseball team on record

• 17 games - the most games played by a Lions JV baseball team on record

• 5 games - total number of games played against state champions

• 5 games - played against pitchers ranked in the top 10 in all of Kansas

• 3 games - played against a 3A school

• 1 game - played against a 4A school

Despite this being the toughest schedule in the history of the Lions baseball program, the JV and Varsity team set records for the number of games won in a season:  JV - 10 and Varsity 12.

Despite this tough schedule the lions Varsity team placed 7 players in the top 100 of Missouri baseball.

Every team record was broken or challenged this year.

​

Last years measure of success, perseverance.  The measure of success for 2025 was grit.  These boys fought hard and produced the best season on record for both Varsity and JV.
